Choosing your concrete fire bowl
Every bowl is hand-cast GFRC with a gas burner. What sets them apart is the silhouette, the size range and how you light them.

Accent or centerpiece
Bowls up to about 30" work as accents: in pairs at the top of a stair, along a walkway or at the corners of a terrace. From 36" up, a fire bowl becomes the centerpiece of a seating group. The largest Wok sizes, 60" and 76" across, are made for large terraces and commercial spaces.
Low and open, or tall and sculptural
Low, wide bowls like the Wok and the Oblique series show the flame from every side. Taller vessel forms like the Round Sanctuary and the larger Tuscany sizes stand on the ground as a piece of sculpture.
Fire bowls for pools
A row of fire bowls along the water is one of the most striking things you can do with a pool: the flame doubles in the reflection after dark. Place them along the pool edge or at the corners of the pool deck, in matching pairs. For a permanent pool feature, natural gas is the practical choice, since a gas line keeps every bowl running without tanks to change.
PRIME bowls or TessaRai fire bowl kits
- PRIME GFRC fire bowls (Wok, Tuscany, Sanctuary, Oblique) are made to order in nine finishes: Raven, Coal, Slate, Bone, Ivory, Arctic, Charcoal Brown, Canyon Tan and Noche. They light with a stainless steel match-throw burner, no power needed.
- TessaRai fire bowl kits arrive as a complete Fire Kit: pan, double-hole stainless steel burner, two gas lines, fittings and lava rock, in eight high-heat colors. Choose match-lit, or auto ignition with an electronic igniter and WiFi control panel to light and adjust the flame from your phone. Output runs from 92,000 to 147,000 BTU depending on size.
Propane or natural gas?
Our fire bowls are available for either fuel. Natural gas connects to a gas line at your home, installed by a licensed professional, and never runs out. Propane runs from a tank beside the bowl, so you can move the bowl later. Our hand-cast LP Tank Cover hides the tank in a matching concrete finish.
Made to order, delivered free
Every bowl is made to order in your size, finish and fuel, and shipping is always included. PRIME bowls are hand-cast in 3 to 4 weeks and then delivered by white-glove freight, usually within 5 to 10 business days. For TessaRai kits we confirm the ship date when you order. All pieces are covered by a 1-year structural warranty.
Fire bowl questions
Is a gas fire bowl smokeless?
Yes. Propane and natural gas burn clean: no wood smoke, no sparks and no ash to clear out.
Do I need electricity?
Not for match-throw or match-lit bowls, which light by hand. Auto ignition on the TessaRai kits needs power at the bowl.
Why concrete instead of metal?
Glass-fiber reinforced concrete is stronger and lighter than solid poured concrete and is built to live outside. It gives a fire bowl the weight and quiet look of cast stone. Each bowl is poured by hand, so small air pockets in the surface are part of the material.
Can I order a custom color?
Yes, beyond the standard finishes we can match a custom color for an additional cost. Contact us with what you have in mind.
Can I return a fire bowl?
Because every bowl is made to order, all sales are final. If it arrives damaged or with a defect, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll repair, replace or refund it at no cost.
