Tumbled-stone fire pit kits

For the classic built-in look, the stone kits arrive as tumbled-stone walls with a 2-piece drop-in pan and stainless steel burner sized to match. You stack the walls on site, set the pan and connect the gas. Choose from three stone finishes: Sierra, Sand Dune and Granite. On request we add tumbled-stone or precast caps, a ledgerstone surround, CSA push-button ignition, fire glass or extra wall courses for a taller pit. Ask us.

Round, square or rectangular

A round or square fire pit suits a circle of chairs; the 46" round and square kits give the biggest flame at 147,000 BTU. A rectangular fire pit fits in front of a sofa or along a long seating wall, and the 64" kit carries a 44" burner, so the flame runs along most of its length.

Concrete fire pits

Prefer something that sits ready on the patio? The Patio Fire Pit Kit is a 40" hand-cast concrete bowl with an 18" burner, made to drop onto a patio, pool deck or terrace. The Fire Column Kit puts a flame on top of an 18" concrete column: flank a doorway, mark a path or set two on either side of a seating area. Both come in eight high-heat colors. What's in a fire pit kit

• The pit itself: tumbled-stone walls, a GFRC bowl or a concrete column
• Stainless steel burner, with a drop-in pan on the stone and column kits
• Gas lines and fittings
• Lava rock
• For propane: an air mixer on the stone and column kits
• Your choice of ignition: match-lit with a key valve, or auto ignition

Match-lit or auto ignition

Match-lit is the simplest: open the key valve and light the burner by hand. No electricity needed. Auto ignition adds an electronic igniter, and you can add a WiFi/Bluetooth controller to light the fire and adjust the flame from your phone. Auto ignition needs power at the pit.

Propane or natural gas?

Every kit is available for either fuel. Natural gas runs from your home's gas line, installed by a licensed professional, and never runs out: the best choice for a permanent fire pit. Propane runs from a tank, so there's no gas line to dig. Hide the tank under our hand-cast LP Tank Cover.

Shipping and warranty

Shipping is included in the price of every kit. Each kit is made to order, and we confirm the ship date when you order. All pieces are covered by a 1-year structural warranty.

Gas fire pit questions

Is a gas fire pit smokeless?

Yes. A propane or natural gas flame burns clean, without wood smoke, sparks or ash.

How much heat do I need?

For a small group around a 32" to 40" pit, 92,000 BTU gives a lively flame. For a larger pit or a wide seating circle, the 46" kits run up to 147,000 BTU.

Can I install a fire pit kit myself?

The stone kits are designed to be assembled on site: stack the walls, drop in the pan and burner. The gas connection is a different matter: have a natural gas line run and connected by a licensed professional, and follow your local code for placement and clearances.

Can I return a fire pit kit?

Because every kit is made to order, all sales are final. If it arrives damaged or with a defect, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll repair, replace or refund it at no cost.
