What you need on site
- Gas: a natural-gas line stubbed to the spot; your licensed fitter makes the final connection
- Gas: a standard propane tank, not included — the LP Tank Cover hides it. Your kit ships with the propane air mixer
- A level, non-combustible base that carries the weight
- Auto ignition: a 13 V power feed to the unit for the igniter and WiFi control panel

- A licensed gas fitter for the final connection and leak test — most local codes require it

The Square Fire Bowl Kit is the simplest way to put real flame on a patio: a hand-cast GFRC bowl, a stainless burner underneath, lava rock on top. Set it on a plinth by the pool or straight on the pavers, connect the gas, and pull the chairs in.
By day it reads as a quiet concrete vessel. After dark it is the reason everyone drifts outside and stays.

Every piece is hand-poured in GFRC and finished in your chosen colour, so no two are identical. The occasional fine air pocket isn’t a flaw — it’s the fingerprint of real, hand-cast concrete, and part of what gives each piece its character.

Questions, answered plainly
Can it stay outside year-round?
Yes. GFRC is engineered for the outdoors and handles sun, rain and temperature swings far better than standard cast concrete. For the longest life we recommend a fitted cover through heavy weather and the off-season.
Propane or natural gas — which do I need?
Either. Pick the gas type when you order and the burner kit ships set up for it. Choose propane for portability with a standard tank, or natural gas if you have a line run to the space.
What’s included, and what isn’t?
Everything in the kit: the piece, the burner pan and stainless burner, gas lines, fittings, the ignition, air mixer for propane and lava rock, shipped by freight. Not included: the gas supply itself (a tank or a stubbed line) and the base it sits on. Fire glass is optional if you want a different look than lava rock.
How does something this size ship?
Free — by insured freight with white-glove delivery. Kits are made to order; we confirm the ship date when you order. A qualified pro should make any gas-line connection.
I see fine pitting in the surface — is that a defect?
No. Small air pockets are natural to hand-poured GFRC and vary piece to piece. They’re part of the handmade character, not a fault. On-screen colour may also differ slightly from the finished piece.
